Some Dandy New Arrivals at Madewell

You guys, can we talk about the adorable new Dandelion Jewelry at Madewell?

Dandelion Necklace

Dandelion Ring

Dandelion Cuff

Dandelion Charm

Raise your hand if these little sparklies remind you of hours spent lying in the backyard as a child making crowns, rings, and necklaces out of dandelions and daisies? Sweet with just a hint of edge, and I love how the opposite end of the cuff is made to look like a little knotted stem!

Oh, and they also made the white blazer I've been looking for (so nice when that happens):

Stable Blazer

ETA 4/20/12: I just got the dreaded e-mail telling me that the Stable Blazer sold out before they could ship it to me! This comes after I called Madewell yesterday to ask them why I hadn't received a shipping notice 48 hours after I placed my order. HULK SMASH!

What do you think of the new arrivals? Anything tickle your fancy?

  1. I was disappointed to see the polka dot skirt that was in the spring preview is in fact NOT a pencil skirt like it was shown but a straight shape with an elastic waistband! And it is not even lined :( So sad.

Thanks for pointing out the new jewelry. Soo freakin' cute.

    1. Ugh, that really is a bummer about the polka dot skirt...sounds like the stripe one that I tried on last month. I think the models are the only ones who can make that shape of skirt look flattering.

  3. Oh dandelions, the bane of all gardeners. I couldn't bring myself to think of them with anything but disdain. ;^)

Thanks for letting us know there are new arrivals. I like the tank dress and the full twist mini, hopefully I can find them at the B&M this week. It's far too cold to wear them when I get back to Canada but if I can find them here I can wear them here in Texas right now.

    1. I envy your gardening skillz! The only thing that I seem to be able to NOT kill is basil, so any flower that flourishes within 10 yards of me gets a free pass. Even weeds, haha ;)

I bought that tank dress in yellow, and I'm sure I'll wear the heck out of it this summer if it's not too sheer. Take pics if you get to try anything on in Texas, and have a great trip!
